Q: How far ahead should I order a cake?

As early as you can, because popular dates go quickly. Final payment is due no later than 3 weeks before collection or delivery, and for wedding cakes the design and price are agreed at least 3 months ahead.

Q: How should I store my cake?

Our cakes contain no preservatives, so they are best eaten within 48 hours of your event. After that, freeze the sponge as soon as possible, wrapped tightly, for up to 3 months. Sugar paste cakes should not be refrigerated.

How do I secure my date?

A non-refundable 50% payment secures the commission and your date. Orders under £60 are paid in full at booking. Not decided on a wedding design yet? A £50 payment holds the date.

Can you cater for allergies?

Cakes can be made gluten free, egg free, alcohol free or without nuts on request. Those ingredients are still used in my kitchen, so I can’t guarantee cakes are free of all traces for anyone highly sensitive.
